Type HIBC/A Heaters

Using wire wound silicone heating technology the HIBC/A is an effective solution for heating any product contained in a Bag-In-A-Box style IBC.

Advantage of the the HIBC/A

Two types of heater are available. The HIBC/A is a silicone mat heater for placement below the container liner before filling, coupled with a digital temperature controller this provides direct, accurate heating of the liner contents. An insulation jacket covering four sides and the lid is also available to aid warm up time.

Construction

The HIBC/A silicone heater mat comprises a high temperature resistance wire element, laminated between silicone/glass sheets. A PTC temperature sensor is also embedded between the sheets. This connects to an electronic temperature controller via the heater power cable and provides accurate measurement and fast response to temperature changes at the bottom of the IBC liner. This makes the heater suitable for both high energy absorbing products and highly viscous, temperature sensitive materials.
