Holroyd HIBC container heaters
are designed to heat products stored in 1000 Litre intermediate bulk
containers.
|
|

|
There are two types of heater available.
HIBC/A (Pictured left) is a silicone mat
heater for placement below the container liner before filling. An
insulation jacket covering four sides and the lid is also available to aid
warm up time. Control is via a 0° C to 90° C Digital Thermostat housed
in an enclosure along with a residual current device.
|
|
HIBC/B (Pictured right) is an insulated
teflon coated polyester heater jacket, which covers all four sides of the container and has an
optional insulated lid.
HIBC/A: -
Rating: 2700 Watts 230
Volts AC
Temp. Control: 20°C-90°C Electronic Controller (Digital Readout)
Performance: Water temp. from 15°C to 70°C in 42 hours (No Insulation
Jacket)
Water temp. from 15°C to 70°C in 30 hours (With Insulation Jacket)
The HIBC/A silicone heater
mat comprises of a high temperature resistance wire element laminated
between silicone/ glass sheets.
|
A PTC temperature sensor is
also embedded between the sheets. This connects to an electronic
temperature controller via the heater power cable and provides accurate
measurement and fast response to temperature changes at the bottom of the
IBC liner. This makes the heater suitable for both high-energy absorbing
products and highly viscous, temperature sensitive materials. |
|
|
HIBC/B: -
Rating: 2 Circuits each
1000 Watts 110 or 240 Volts AC
Temp. Control: -5°C to +40°C or 20°C to 90°C Capillary Thermostat per
Circuit
Performance: Water temp. from 15°C to 55°C in 56 hours (No Insulation
Lid)
Water temp. from 15°C to 80°C in 56 hours (With Insulation Lid)
The HIBC/B insulated heater jacket has a heating element stitched into an insulated jacket made
from a water-resistant, teflon coated poyester, insulated
with a layer of filament insulation. This comes
complete with release buckles for ease of installation and removal. The
jacket has two separate heating circuits for its upper and lower halves;
each circuit is controlled by an integral capillary thermostat. |

All HIBC heaters are
manufactured to conform to the EEC Low Voltage and EMC directives and CE
marked accordingly. |
